St John's chapel is one of two church buildings within the parish of St Mary the Virgin Coleorton. It is a small but lovely chapel set in beautiful countryside, but requiring some renovation works at the moment. In use until very recently, we currently  hold Coleorton services either at St Mary's church or at Viscount Beaumont School:

1st Sunday - 10:30 Holy Communion at Viscount Beaumont Primary School, Ashby Road, LE67 8FD

2nd Sunday - 10:30 Morning Worship at St Mary's

3rd Sunday - 10:30 Holy Communion at St Mary's

4th Sunday - 3:30 Messy Church at Viscount Beaumont Primary School

5th Sunday - Join with other churches in our Flagstaff Family for a team service.

 Our church is warm, welcoming and relaxed. If you join us for a service. we'll be friendly without being pushy - and we will definitely offer you a cuppa!

We are proud of our heritage but we are also a forward-looking and ambitious group of people, seeking to fulfil God's mission for us in this lovely place.

We are part of the Ashby and Breedon Team Ministry and our parish priest is the Reverend Mary Gregory who is based at St Helen's Rectory,  Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

We hold a service every Sunday (with a few exceptions)  either in our main church building or at Viscount Beaumont C of E Primary School. Our worship style depends on the service you choose, with all ages welcome. 

So there you have it! If you are looking for a big town church, you will no doubt head into Ashby -de-la-Zouch, but if you want small, friendly and distinctively Coleorton, do come along - we would be delighted to meet you!
